Microwave Travelling Wave Tubes and TWT Amplifiers
Albacom manufactures a range of ring-bar, ring-loop, helix and coupled-cavity TWT Travelling Wave Tubes, and with over thirty years design and manufacturing experience are capable of producing samples and initiating production to customers specifications in the shortest possible time.
The company utilises its own resources for design and manufacture, in clean room facilities. Stage inspections are carried out and completed tubes are fully tested on purpose built equipment.

The Microwave Tube Group employs a multi-disciplined staff of which a high proportion are professionally qualified. With almost four decades of experience in its core product areas, the group can provide customised solutions to customer requirements.
The defence groups products can be subdivided into :
- Low voltage shadow gridded or cathode modulated electron guns
- Depressed collectors and velocity tapering of circuits to provide high efficiency
- Periodic Permanent Magnet focusing and light weight construction
- Operating frequencies from 1 GHz to 18 Ghz
